The Bikram Method of Hatha Yoga is a series
of twenty-six poses and two breathing exercises designed to provide
a total body workout. By the end of this ninety minute class you
will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal
organ and gland, while systematically moving fresh, oxygenated blood
throughout your entire body.
The room is intentionally heated to warm your
muscles and allow you to work deeper yet safer. The heat helps heal
and prevent injuries. It also promotes sweating, which flushes toxins
from the body.
The program is designed to accommodate the needs
of anyone who wishes to increase strength, flexibility, balance,
concentration and muscle tone. Unlike other sports, the Bikram program
will provide you with a sense of relaxation and physical and mental
stress release regardless of your ability. The teachers are trained
to help you maintain a correct posture. Regardless of your physical

As a rule of thumb, expect to regain 1 year of flexibility
for each month of regular attendance.
